The main focus of this site is travel photography, (see what I did there, used a photography term, focus). We will assist you in enhancing your travel photographs and videos by presenting tips, trick, and techniques, that you can implement easily, and without overwhelming you with a lot to technical jargon. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask. If you read someone’s comments, and you would like to respond, please feel free to do so. The more interaction between me, you, and the other site visitors, the better and more useful this site will be.

A little about my background. I stated professionally photographing weddings at the age of 19. Certainly, helped pay for the college tuition at the New York Institute of Technology. Earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Arts, specializing in radio, TV, and film programming and production.

I continued wedding photography for a total of 12 years to supplement my income as a teacher for the New York City Board of Education. I left teaching and opened a commercial photography studio specializing in jewelry and product photography.

After deciding that New York was to cold and crowed, a move to south Florida seemed like a logical thing to do. That’s where I began a 30-year career as a college administrator. All during that time, I always had a camera (manual Nikon) close by to shoot family, friends, trips, and anything that wouldn’t shoot me back.

I finally took the digital plunge in 2010 with a Nikon D7000, with a Tamron 18-200mm lens. As the years went by, and I got older and weaker, the Nikon got heavier and heavier. So, I traded it in for a Sony Alpha 6500, and use a Tamron e-mount 18-200mm lens. Most of the images presented on this site are taken with the Sony Alpha 6500.

I hope you enjoy this web site and find the information presented informative and useful.
